I am sure that lots of you know that I am one of the few stockists of Frenchic furniture paint and in fact the only stockist of Frenchic furniture paint in Congleton, Cheshire. Frenchic was launched two years ago this month, and is fast becoming a leading furniture paint brand. The product are super and easy to use. The paint requires no stirring and has virtually no smell. So it is a delight to use. There are 30 original colour and 15 Lazy Range colours. The Lazy Range has a built in wax, this finish is activated by giving the paint a light buffing with a white scouring pad – it has to be a white scouring pad. Along with the paints there are the truly superb waxes. I thought a wax, was a wax, was a wax until I tried the #Frenchic waxes. They are really soft and easy to apply and then they buff up remarkably easily. They truly are the best waxes I have ever used. Then there is Frensheen, this is a metallic pigment that can be mixed with wax to give a gently glimmer or with the Frenchic finishing coat to give a full on metallic high light look. So with the range of paints, waxes, Frensheen and finishing coats along with the terrific stencils the world is truly your oyster when it comes to revamping, reclaiming, up-cycling or simply giving a face lift to an old piece of furniture.
Please look at the Frenchic Facebook page, and then pop into see me at the Victoria Mill in Congleton. I have not put the Frenchic paint on my website shop as paint is notoriously difficult to post. However I do hope to see you at Notions Haberdashery, and remember the famous up-cycler Max Mc Murdow is now the Frenchic brand ambassador.
Please post your furniture paint adventures on my Facebook page – Notions Haberdashery.
